Starting (and committing to) a wellness routine can feel daunting and overwhelming.

Maybe you’ve even started some lifestyle changes, but end up feeling frustrated when your stock of fresh veggies goes bad, or your new Yoga mat collects dust. It’s hard to get going and follow through, even though you know it’ll be good for you.

I completely understand.

You’ve found success in many areas of your life. Maybe you already have a great job. Supportive friends. Book clubs and hobbies and a close family. But there’s a downside to this rich life: self-care and wellness practices can get pushed to the end of the to-do list.

On top of that busy life, if you’re an all-or-nothing person, it feels like you need to have a daily 60-minute workout, perfect meals, and to get it all right. Taking little steps forward to putting yourself first and prioritizing your health is challenging with your high standards.

What would be helpful? Someone qualified and caring to give you direction and support on this journey to achieving a healthy weight, making progress with your health goals, and feeling confident in your daily choices.

You know how you want to feel.

Something isn’t working and you could feel better in your daily life. Yoga, healthy eating, and meditation all help, but you just can’t seem to find the time to fit them into your schedule and stick with them.

You want to feel confident that your wellness choices are indeed an excellent use of your time and that they are the optimal practices to benefit your overall health.

At the end of the day, you want to be:

  • Confident and happily satisfied with yourself and your choices

  • Radiant and healthy, walking through life with that post-Yoga glow and clear skin

  • Comfortable in your favorite jeans and looking forward to your next reunion

  • Free from worries about developing diabetes or other preventable diseases

  • Well-rested and energized, even after an intense day of hard work, so you can fully enjoy your family, friends, and you time

  • Having patience for those around you, whether it’s your partner leaving dishes in the sink or your coworker asking to “pick your brain”

This is all possible inside the Spiro Commons Membership.

Spiro Commons

is for people who are craving

more deliberate self-care and a supportive space to improve their energy, health, and well-being.

In this group, there’s an easy-to-navigate strategy for higher wellness, marked with clear goals and expert, caring support.

Spiro Commons combines the practices of Yoga and Āyurveda.

Āyurveda is an ancient Indian system of health and healing, and it outlines simple, beneficial practices that you can include in your daily life through diet, meditation, exercise, and more. Āyurveda outlines the path to your best self.

Spiro Commons is designed to help you implement simple Āyurvedic lifestyle changes that enhance overall health and wellbeing.

Each month we pick a different focal point to integrate into our lives. We base this theme on the energy of the seasons, to make sure the changes are effective and not overwhelming.

Our practices come from ancient traditions designed to help you realize that love, power, and peace are your true nature and your birthright. They help you to experience this truth so that your outsides match your insides, and you feel and look strong, calm, and vibrant.

How it Works

Each month, you get a brand new wellness program that’s based on the monthly theme and focus point. Each theme is inspired by Āyurveda and Yoga teachings that attune your body, mind, and energy to the seasons, so you always feel your best.

Here’s a sampling of topics we work through together:

  • September: Refuge in Routine helps us to create and commit to daily habits that help us feel focused and grounded.

  • January: Mind and Body Rebalancing through the Chakra System is our way to set New Year’s intentions that are sustainable and feel good.

  • April: Spring Cleaning for Body and Mind helps us refresh habits and beliefs that are holding us back.

  • July: Release the Heat shows us practices to help our bodies and minds remain tranquil and calm, even in the heat of the moment.

Āyurvedic self-care tutorials, Yoga āsana videos, journaling prompts, guided meditations, recipes, and more help you explore the monthly wellness theme and bring more vibrant confidence into your everyday life.

It's all laid out within a convenient online portal accessible via desktop or mobile app.

About Your Guide

Hi, I’m Sam, founder of Spiro Collective. I’m an Āyurvedic Health Counselor, nutrition PhD, and Yoga Instructor with over 2,500 hours of teaching experience. My superpower is identifying the simple health habits that will make the biggest improvement to your well-being and communicating them in a friendly, doable way. I’ve seen the power of Yoga and Āyurveda in my life and in hundreds of students and clients, but I also know that it can be difficult to implement these practices into your daily life.

Why is it so difficult to build self-care into your life?

One reason is because there are so many different practices and habits to choose from. It can be hard to know where to start, and overwhelming to make lasting lifestyle changes.

It also can be lonely! I know how difficult it is to be eating or acting differently than your friends and family. I wanted to bring together a community of people who value holistic health and being their best selves.

I created Spiro Commons to provide a simple structure and framework for your self-care journey. It’s all about feasible and effective practices, rooted in the power of nature, that allow you to be the best version of YOU, every day. I look forward to thriving with you!

"Sam is such a gift.  Her energy, knowledge and passion about an Ayurvedic lifestyle is infectious.  She teaches concepts and techniques in a way that makes it easy to understand and take action."

-Robin F.
